Shri. L. K. Khot College of Commerce at Sankeshwar town is housed in the S. D. V. S. Sangh’s academic building which is situated amidst the finest greenery and District Prize Winner Garden, total area measuring around 40 acres, at the best elevation with a scenic Vallabhagad hill in the rear back ground. Over five hundred trees in the campus have kept the environment clean, fresh and eco-friendly. An ideal locality to sit beneath the trees and study even during summer. The College started functioning on 15th June 1970 as a result of relentless effort of Late Shri. Appangouda Patil, a statesman and a visionary who strived to bring higher education in this rural part. Late. Shrimant. L. K. Khot of Hebbal, a benevolent donor and a principled businessman who donated his hard earned money for establishment of an institution of higher studies which can spread knowled ge essential for the furtherance of trade, industry and commerce. The College bears his name. Above all, rich blessings of His Holiness Jagadguru of Shri. Duradundeeshwar Siddhasansthan Math, Nidasoshi have caused the birth of this College.
