Govt. Kodu Ram Dalit College, Nawagarh, Dist.- Bemetara the pioneer institution of higher education in this area, has long been recognized as a premier centre of higher learning in Bemetara block. The college strives ceaselessly to emancipate, enlighten and empower Students. Education at Govt. Kodu Ram Dalit Collegea is a unique amalgam of traditional learning and futuristic vision. The College established in 1989-90 is affiliated to the Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur. Initially it had started with a small strength of 160 students and few courses in the Arts, Commerce and Science stream. it mainly caters to the educational needs of the tribal belt in this region with its focused objective to provide education to girl students from the tribal areas.
