About College
College is established since 1989 by the Higher Education Department of M.P. Government vide order No. 2278/143/ek-f’k-/38-2/89 Bhopal Dated 12.07.1989. Initially its name was Government College Basna but from 2003 the college is renamed as Late Shri Jaidev Satpathi Government College, Basna vide order No. F 73/155/m f’k/2002 Raipur Dated 15.01.2003 of Higher Education Department of Chhattisgarh Government. It is a degree College where up to degree level study is provided to the students. Initially only the Arts Faculty was started in the College. Vide order no. 2641/ F 3-31/2012 /38-1 Dated 10.07.2012 of Higher Education Department of Chhattisgarh Government Science Faculty ( Bio Group ) and Commerce Faculty are started. Now the college has the following classes and courses (2013-14)-
