Abhiruchi Institute of Physical Education (AIPE) is a post graduate college established under the aegis of 'Abhiruchi', a registered NGO, devoted to the cause of promotion of games and sports in Assam, in the year 2008 for the first time in Assam to impart quality physical education. The institute has been registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 (No. 2975 of 1988-89). The Education Department, Govt. of Assam has accorded approval for setting up the Abhiruchi Institute of Physical Education (AIPE). It is worth mentioning that the Gauhati University has kindly provided permission and affiliation to conduct B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education) course, B.P.E (Bachelor of Physical Education) course of three (3) year duration. The permission of the Regional Director, Eastern Regional Committee, the National Council for Teachers' Education (NCTE) is under process vide our APPLICATION ID : ERCAPP2255 to conduct B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education) course.
