Krishna Bora B.Ed. College was established in 1996 by some outstanding teachers, academicians and eminent social workers in the town of Lanka, 65 kms south of Nagaon town with a view to imparting teacher education. It is the oldest teachers training institution of Hojai Sub-Division and entire South Nagaon. True to the aspirations of the people, this college has ever since been striving to achieve excellence in the field of teacher education. Here a good number of studente not only of Assam but also of other parts of the country benifit from the holistic facilities every year. In fact, it has now become one of the premier institutes of the state of Assam.
