About College

The one and only girls' college of Tezpur town, the Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi Girls' College, which was established in 1979 at Mission Chariali here, has been deprived from inclusion in to the government's deficit budget policy even after fulfilling every conditions of the government. Thus the college has been suffering from extreme financial hardship.At this critical juncture, altogether 20 lecturers - including 7 non-teaching staff - are facing a great dilemma over their future.
