1st July, 1994 is a red letter day for the people of Fakiragram as on this auspicious day, the Fakiragram College was established in a picturesque surroundings of Fakiragram. It was made possible with the active help and co-operation of the people of Fakiragrm and its adjoining areas. Some interested and responsible persons of the locality attempted twice/thrice to establish a Degree College at Fakiragram some 25 years ago. But their attempts could not become successful.
