About College
Pakuahat Degree College is a college in Pakuahat in the Malda district of West Bengal, India. The college is affiliated to the University of Gour Banga, offering undergraduate courses. Pakuahat Degree College was founded on 4 th September, 1997 with the aim to uplift rural educationally backward poor people of the Barind area of Malda district. It renders services of imparting higher education for the amelioration of the backward SC/ST dominated blocks of Malda District, Bamongola and Habibpur. The College is built on a 6 acre land area and has an Academic Building where classes are held, an Administrative Building, a Library, one Union Building, a Canteen, Cycle stand, a Boys' Hostel and a Girls' Hostel. The college currently has only Arts faculty with ten departments.
