About College
Despite the commendable history and glorious tradition, the common people of this midland remained outside the domain of modern higher education till 1965. With the pioneering and persistant efforts of Late Sri.K.V.Narayan Reddy, the then M.L.A. and former Minister in Andhra Pradesh cabinet, the long cherished dreams of the people became reality. Thus Adarsha Arts, Commerce & Science College, Jammikunta, the third college in our district, was established in 1965 under private management. That was the humble beginning of our college with a great vision and mission to impart higher education to the economically backward region and to transform it into a knowledge society.
