The Karnataka Peoples' Education Society was established in the year 1976 by adopting the bylaws of People Education Society, Mumbai, established by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, with the sole motto to impart quality legal education to the unprivileged class of our society especially of this region. Our society is progressing under the able leadership of Sri. Mallikarjun Kharge, Chairman & Hon'ble Minister for Railways, Govt. of India and Sri. Marutirao D. Maley, General Secretary & Ex. M.L.C. and other governing body members. Presently society is running a number of schools and colleges across Karnataka. The college started under the patronage of Shri Mallikarjun M. Kharge, Founder Chairman of Karnataka People's Education Society, Gulbarga in the year 1982. Besides this a band of selfless workers like Maruthi Roa Maley, Saibanna Kalgurthi, Sangavi, Uppare, Eti and others of Karnataka People's Education Society also took special interest in the endeavour. This college is permanently affiliated to Gulbarga University, Gulbarga. It is housed in the newly constructed building.
