With a cultural heritage that goes back to more than 20 years, Chhamaria Anchalik College, the only nest of higher education for never ending generations to come at Chhamaria and its adjoining areas of Kmarup district in Assam (India), earns authentic confidence to call ascending pursuit. The college was established on the 12th August, 1994 with a carriage of its weightage activated from some intellectual pioneers of the time. The first meeting for the college was held on the 24th January, 1982 at public information organized by the College preparation committee that was formed in 1981 at the meeting of Chhamaria Yubak Sangha, Chhamaria Satra. Sri Harendra Narrayan Mazumdar was the president and Sri Khagen Bayan was the secretary of the preparation committee.
