About College
Kokrajhar Govt. College was established in 1959, located in Kokrajhar, Assam. The college started providing education only in Arts stream formerly. The college started providing degree courses in the field of science from 1964. The college is affiliated with Gauhati University. The college offers only UG level courses in the field of Arts and Sciences. Bachelor of Arts (B.A) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in General and Major in each of them, are offered by the college. Candidates can have specializations in each of the programme, provided by the college. Selection of the candidates for the courses mentioned above is made purely on the basis of their obtained marks in 10+2 level exam from a recognized academic institution.
