About College
N.T.R Government College for Women was established in the year 1981 with two courses B.A and B.com with Telugu as the medium of instruction to impart Education to Women in the backward district; Mahabub Nagar the admitted student strength was 52 against the sanctioned strength of 120. In the year 2001, the College was named as N.T.R Government College for Women. At present the College is providing education in both English and Telugu as the media of instruction in the conventional courses B.A, B.com and B.Sc (MPC) along with B.com Computers and B.Sc Computers.The College is an under graduate College affiliated to Osmania University and recognized by U.G.C under 2F in 1983 and under 12 B in 1991. The College is situated in the semi urban area in 1.36 acres.The norms and procedures for recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff of the College are as per GOVT. rules.
