About College

Aronai College, Kokrajhar was established in 1st January, 2013 through a resolution No. 3 adopted in the Public Meeting held at Bedlangmari, Kokrajhar under the Presidentship of Sri. Hagrama Mahilary, the Chief of Bodoland Territorial Council. The huge gathering of intellectuals felt the necessity for opening of Aronai College in Kokrajhar. The College came into existence with the active co-operation and selfless dedication of the people of Kokrajhar. The College started in the beginning with altogether 97 students, the sum total of students of both Arts and Science stream. The College started temporarily in Commerce College and Science College for Arts and Science respectively during the first year of the opening of the college.
