About College

Established in 1957 with financial assistance from the Central Government of India, Alipurduar College got the initial recognition as a Government Sponsored College affiliated to the University of North Bengal under the Refugee Rehabilitation and Development Programme of the Union Government and in due course of time, came under the 2F and 12B category of the University Grants Commission.[1] It is a co-education college with courses in arts, sciences and commerce.
