Shri C. U. Shah College of Commerce, Management & Computer Education , Managed by the Jain Citizens Education Society - Surendranagar is affiliated to the Saurashtra University. It is the first English Medium College in Surendranagar District. The College was established in June -1996 and running the major Bachelor level courses BCA, BBA, Bcom & PGDCA. The College is located on Surendranagar- Ahmedabad State Highway. Shri Jain Citizens Education Society manages Shri C. U. Shah College of Commerce, Management & Computer Education. Jain Citizens Education Society was established in 1979. The trust being the minority trust wanted to give backbone to this remote area, which was industrially and economically backward in the form of education in internationally accepted language. The success of English medium school and higher secondary gave rise to the demand for institute which can provide higher education as an enhancement towards development considering this factor, the trust started first English medium college in the year 1996, which was the brainchild of Hon. Secretary Shri Bharat K. Shah (Son of Founder member). It is the first College of its kind to provide Higher Education in English as a medium of instruction in the District. The college is self financed and is affiliated with Saurashtra University. The college was included in the list of colleges under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956 under the head of Non Government Colleges.
