Sree Sabareesa College Mrurkkumvayal is India's first aided Arts & Science College run by Mala Araya Educational Trust (MET) under the mother organization Aikya Mala Araya Maha Sabha (AMAMS) - a tribal community development organization. The college offers higher education programmes for the students who are socially and economically backward with special reference to tribal geographical locations, and strives to mainstream the students with national and international level job opportunities.
