The Technological Institute of Textile & Science is the pioneer institute in providing quality technical education in our country. It was established in 1943 under the umbrella of Birla educational trust. Now after almost 70 years of experience the institute become leader in providing the engineering and post graduate programs and able to attract aspirants from and outside the country. The Technological Institute of Textile & Science is affiliated to the Maharishi Dayanand University and also toAICTE. All of its technical courses are also affiliated to the Department of Technical Education, Haryana and they also possess the National Board of Accreditation for its courses. The institutes hold the first position in technical institutes across Haryana and top position across the country. The institute takes the initiative for lots of activities and research based projects.
