This is a hard fact that 75% of Indian's population lives in villages, which for over the years has not been able to contribute in the country's development due to lack of adequate and sufficient facilities at local level. Education for all has been and still is a greatest challenge against all our countrymen, ever since our nation has gained freedom. By willfully accepting this challenge, we on the wishes and blessings of our respected parents founded a college named as Sri "Ram Intermediate college native village para (Kandaur) around 30 years ago" with an objective to provide quality fundamental education to the needy children of our village as well as of the nearby villages. This area is one of the most backward area of Bundelkhand region in Uttar Pradesh. This are is the village where, I was born and brought up and after retirement from India Aministrative service, I visit the village at least twice every month and look after its all round development. I remember for attending the High School & Intermediate classes at Hamirpur our Distt. Head Quarter, we had to travel more than 15 km. on foot. This situation had inspired a strong feeling to establish a college in the village itself. Here presently carious subjects under Arts, Science, and Agriculture streams are taught. Where nearly 1000 students both girls and boys are studying.
